Retro literature themed wedding shoot

A few weeks back "The Gore girls" (my sister and I) got together for a meshing of our creative talents on a wedding photo shoot.  We decided to feature a 1970's retro literature theme complete with flowers and fashion photography.

My sister has this fantastic ability to capture emotion and depth in photographs (perfect for weddings).  I can't tell you how excited I am that she has found a place in the wedding industry, it means that we may be able to work together more often in the future!  You can see samples of her weddings here: http://www.kingsqueens.ca/

What is a wedding without cake?  The Happy Baker provided all of the cake and cupcakes for the shoot.  She is amazing to work with and so talented!  Have a look at her work on her facebook page under The Happy Baker: http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=36219571775

The bridal bouquet was created with poppies (a good reason to schedule a March wedding in my books), red kangaroo paw, yellow craspedia, yellow ranuncululs, purple hellebores and podophyllum foliage.
A huge thanks to our model Jess, she is alot of fun to work with.
